Kevin Dale, Managing Director of National Network Travel is the tour organiser and has been on all the supporter tours. A keen cricket fan, Kevin lived in England from 1985 to 1989 and, along with two partners, established 22 indoor cricket centres. He was the inaugural chairman of the UK Indoor Cricket Federation.

PRE TOUR BRIEFINGS

Personalised attention has always been a hallmark of Network Cricket Tours and a pre tour briefing evening is held in Melbourne prior to each tour. Kevin Dale has been on all the Network Cricket Tours and has a valuable collection of traveling tips. This get together enables tour members to meet each other and we have a thorough discussion on luggage, clothing, money, tipping, customs, airport procedures and cricket arrangements. We hand out the travel documents and have plenty of time for questions. For interstate travelers we will do similar evenings if there are sufficient numbers, otherwise you will be sent a written summary of our discussion notes.

We have had the pleasure of touring under Kevin Dale's (National Network Travel) leadership on five overseas cricket tours: 1997 England Ashes, 1999 West Indies, 2001 England Ashes, 2002 South Africa, 2003 West Indies, 2004 India & 2006 South Africa. We have enjoyed Kevin's humour, friendship, attention to detail and ability to organise these tours and ensure that they proceed smoothly for everyone's enjoyment.

During the above tours we have witnessed ten great test matches (8 wins for Australia, 1 draw and 1 loss,) however have experienced a lot more than just cricket, including England, Ireland, France (inc a visit to the Somme,) the wild life in Zimbabwe and Botswana, New Orleans and Miami in the US and the West Indian Islands of Trinidad, Antigua, St Lucia and Barbados. We have even fitted in a number of golf games.

I have traveled extensively to Tests (9 Overseas Tours,) over the past 10 years. National Network Tours are my preferred tour organizer. I transferred to them after 2 tours with another organizer as they were the best back then. National Network Travel have only improved ever since. They organize the type of tour we want and have a very high rate of repeat customers so we know who to expect and what to expect before signing on for a tour. Some of the accommodation National Network have used is outstandingly luxurious and has to be seen to be believed - eg. in St Lucia, Sun City and Zimbabwe. Travel orgainization is top notch both in preparing travel plans and while touring. National Network Tours are good value and the tone of the tours suit the more advanced cricket follower who know their cricket. But not the least aspect has been that I have never enjoyed myself more than while on a National Network Cricket Tour.
